Kettering Choral Society
Welcome to KCS!

KCS hold their annual Come and Sing! day at Rockingham Road Baptist Church, Kettering on 8th November, focusing on Captain Noah and His Floating Zoo, a "Cantata in Popular Style" by Michael Flanders and Joseph Horovitz.

This work deals with the biblical story of Noah and is written in a variety of styles from Jazz to Samba and is great fun to learn and perform.

We will spend the day learning the music with breaks for lunch and refreshments, and then put it all into practice at a concert later that day.

Everyone is welcome to come and join in learning this easy and fun piece of music. Scores will be provided (though if you wish to use your own, you can of course do so: We will be usiing the SATB Version.)

If you would like to take part, please do sign-up here, so we have a rough idea of numbers. Refreshments will be provided, though we do ask that you bring your own lunch.

If you don't want to sing, you are very welcome to come to the performance at 4:30pm which is free of charge!
