Kettering Choral Society
Welcome to KCS!

Come and join KCS as we celerate Christmas with a programme of traditional carols and popular festive songs. The centrepiece of the concert is Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols written in 1912 and incorporating many different English folk carols, many of them collected by Vaughan Williams on his travels around the country in the first decade of the twentieth century. Some of them have since gone on to become Christmas standards.

In addidion, KCS perform several arrangements of Christmas standards, such as When a Child is Born, Do you Hear What I Hear? and O Holy Night. There will also be familiar carols for the audience to join in with, so please do come along and get Christmas well and truely started (at least musically!)
